Since I’ve promised some not Swedish speaking friends, acquaintances and family, not least my dear aunt Jean in Canada, to let them know about my whereabouts and experiences I will try to keep this blog in English. However, in the midst of traveling and mind guzzling impressions maybe my lack of focus and energy makes me break this promise. Forgive me in advance.
I might as well also post a disclaimer for all the misspellings, incorrect grammar and other abuse to the English language that will occur on this blog – and, since blogging in any form is totally new to me, for weird format and unstructured content.
Done. The reasons for me starting this blog are a few. Firstly because I want to let people know what I’m up to. Secondly, since I’m traveling alone, I think it’s easier to process things you do if you write it down afterwards since I can't really vent my experiences with anyone. Thirdly, I think those were the main reasons.
Except from that the blog will of course focus around my interests, thus you won’t see descriptions or pictures of the country’s fauna or it's animals. The occasional landscape picture is probably as far as I’ll stretch as it comes to descriptions of nature. Sorry Hans. Though, if you read about hostels set on fire in the region it might be me after finding out that my hostel inhabited bed bugs, may they burn in hell.
I'm also not sure how often I'll get the chance to uppdate this blog, or even if I feel like updating it when I start traveling. So don't be too upset if I suddenly stop writing. Parents: I promise to let you know in other ways if I'm alive in case I stop writing here!
